His body of work encompasses colorful and often disturbing images on canvas, and has recently expanded into custom apparel and decorative textiles. He has built a reputation in the art world as seductive and rebellious, nourished by his unabashed views on sexuality, religion, politics and the macabre, while touching nerves and pushing through societal boundaries.
Miestorm’s work has been featured in group shows in NYC and abroad, and in various films and documentaries. His photographs are currently part of a Studio 54 retrospective at the Brooklyn Museum of Art.
